✩ Current Design Evaluation

The website I selected is https://nctzenbasic.com/

The current design of the website appears outdated and lacks a coherent visual identity. Several key design issues include: Layout Confusion: The homepage layout is visually overwhelming. Content sections are not clearly distinguished, and there is no clear hierarchy or focus point. Colour Scheme: The website uses a mix of colors that do not align well with NCT’s brand identity. There’s inconsistency in background and text colors, which affects readability. Typography: Multiple font styles and sizes are used inconsistently. Some fonts are too small, while others lack appropriate line spacing, reducing legibility. Imagery and Icons: Many images are low resolution or poorly aligned. Some buttons or elements appear generic or misused (e.g., icon placements).

✩ Redesign Goals

The primary objectives of the website redesign are:

• To modernize the visual design and bring it in line with NCT’s global and futuristic brand identity.

• To improve usability by providing intuitive navigation and clear information hierarchy.

• To enhance content engagement, especially for fans, through structured updates, interactive fan zones, and easier content contribution.

• To increase accessibility and inclusivity for users across different regions by incorporating multilingual support and better contrast/typography.

✩ Target Audience

The redesigned website is primarily targeted at:

• International NCT fans (NCTzens) who are seeking up-to-date group information, events, and fan support activities.

• Newcomers to NCT’s world who may not be familiar with the group’s concept, units, or members and need a friendly, informative experience.

• Fan community contributors, such as those who submit fan art, participate in fan projects, or join events.

• Casual site visitors, including press or event organizers, who may be looking for quick reference and contact.
