I started by selecting a portrait photo as the base for my design. I carefully chose this image to reflect the dreamy and expressive theme I had in mind. Next, I removed the original background and replaced it with a soft pink gradient to set a cohesive, Y2K-inspired mood for the poster.

After that, I used layer masking to isolate key parts of the image, like my face and hair, so I could work on them separately without affecting the whole composition. I enhanced the skin tone and lighting to create a smooth and radiant effect that harmonized with the overall color palette.

To bring my concept to life, I began adding visual elements like stars and eye motifs. I placed these throughout the design, adjusting their sizes and positions to create depth and movement. I also experimented with blending modes to make these elements integrate naturally into the composition.

For the typography, I added the title "Dreamscapes of Freedom" at the bottom of the poster using a bold, curvy font in pink. This choice aligned perfectly with the Y2K aesthetic while keeping the text visually engaging.

To refine the poster further, I added additional stars—some as wireframes, others as solid fills—to balance the composition and draw attention to key areas. I spent time adjusting the colors, saturation, and brightness to ensure the overall design felt polished and cohesive.

Finally, after making sure all the details were just right, I exported the completed poster in high resolution, ready for presentation and animation. This process allowed me to experiment creatively while learning new techniques in Photoshop.
