PROJECT 4 - IDEA DEVELOPMENT

"Write a biography about yourself'

INTRO

My name is Mei Yee, but people call me Angel. Born and raised in Malaysia, I’m an INFP who enjoys the comfort of staying indoors, though I occasionally love going out. I cherish my freedom and adore anything cute, especially Sanrio characters.

PARAGRAPH 1

What is your passion?

My passion is attending concerts of my favourite idols, collecting cute Sanrio plushies, and listening to music I like.

PARAGRAPH 2

What’s motivate you to achieve your dream?

As a Gemini and INFP, the pursuit of freedom is definitely at the core. I want to live in a place where I feel truly free and, one day, experience the beauty of the aurora I’ve always admired.

SUMMARY

How do you visualize your dream into an artwork?

I would visualize my dream into an artwork inspired by the Y2K aesthetic, using a collage style with bold colours and edgy elements. The artwork would combine futuristic and rebellious vibes, reflecting my desire for freedom and self-expression. I would incorporate elements such as dreamy landscapes, symbolic imagery of exploration, and personal touches to represent my pursuit of dreams and individuality.

"Write a statement about your work"

INTRO

I would like to create an artwork inspired by the Y2K aesthetic with a collage style, as it’s a concept I've been drawn to for a while. This style allows me to express my thoughts and dreams of freedom, while reflecting the blend of futuristic and rebellious vibes that define my vision for the future.

PARAGRAPH 1

What is the concept behind it?

I want to bring out what’s happening to me right now and my current thoughts, like how I mentioned in my biography. For example, my desire for freedom and exploration, as well as my fascination with the aurora. The artwork will express my yearning for a place where I feel truly free, while also reflecting the dreamy, rebellious vibes I connect with. I’m eager to live authentically and chase my dreams in a way that lets me express my individuality.

PARAGRAPH 2

What is the message you want people to understand it?

Live freely, stay true to yourself, explore your dreams, and make the most of every moment!

SUMMARY

What is your motto/ quote?

Embrace freedom, chase your dreams, and live authentically.
